These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SkinSpot (skinspot.gg), our services, and the SkinSpot browser extension (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. SkinSpot is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Valve Corporation or Steam. Counter-Strike and CS2 are trademarks of Valve.
You must be at least 18 years old, legally able to enter contracts, the rightful owner of the Steam account you connect, and not located in or a resident of any sanctioned or prohibited jurisdiction. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you, including any restrictions on trading virtual items.
You sign in with Steam and must verify an email address. You are responsible for your account, your connected Steam account, and all activity under them. Keep your credentials secure. We may require identity verification (KYC) before you can transact.
SkinSpot is a peer-to-peer marketplace where users buy and sell CS2 in-game items. Items are delivered between users through Steam trades. SkinSpot facilitates listings, payments, and dispute handling, and holds your account balance in custody, but SkinSpot is not a bank and balances are not deposits.
SkinSpot charges a commission on sales (currently 5%), shown before you confirm. Deposits and withdrawals may incur network/processor fees, which are disclosed at the time of the transaction.
We may require you to complete identity verification (through our provider) before depositing, withdrawing, or trading. We may refuse, limit, freeze, or reverse transactions and suspend accounts where required to prevent fraud or money laundering or to comply with law.
Violations may result in canceled transactions, frozen or forfeited balances, and account termination.
If something goes wrong with a trade, open a dispute or contact support during the hold period. SkinSpot will review the available evidence and may release, refund, or reverse the transaction. SkinSpot's dispute decisions are final for the operation of the Service. See our Refund Policy.
The optional SkinSpot extension automates trade delivery using your Steam session. You authorize it to read your trade offers and send trades you initiate. You may remove it at any time; doing so may prevent automatic delivery of your sales.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SkinSpot is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for losses arising from Steam actions, account bans, crypto volatility, or third-party providers. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
You agree to indemnify SkinSpot against claims and losses arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Service.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to comply with law. Terms that by their nature should survive termination will do so.
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date. Continued use means acceptance. The governing law and dispute-resolution forum will be as stated at launch.
